Celebrate Soulmates' 10th Anniversary at the Guardian

Join the Soulmates team at the Guardian head office to mark the tenth anniversary of the Soulmates website.

On 16 July come along for a masterclass in dating; hear from guest speakers over a drink, meet the team to get some advice on your profile and chat to other members over a chocolate tasting session.

What can you expect on the night?

Have a sneak peek inside King’s Place in North London, home to the Guardian News and Media.

Our guest speakers will be there to give talks on all things dating; Saskia Nelson from Saturday Night’s Alright will be on hand to discuss Dos and Don’ts of profile photos. The Invisible Woman will be talking about why you should grab life by the throat, with or without anyone's permission. And lastly, Editor of the Soulmates Blog and London-based dating expert Charly Lester will be speaking about the lessons she learned during her 30 Dates Challenge*.

Artisan chocolate company, Cocoa Runners will be giving a lesson in chocolate tasting etiquette. Well versed in the art of sampling chocolate, representatives from the business will be running a session on how to get the most out of chocolate.

The Soulmates team will be on hand to answer all your dating questions and give you tips like what to write in your profile, how to approach a member you like and what kind of pictures to use on your account.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person which includes admission, a welcome drink, nibbles, the chance to hear all of our guest speakers and a lesson in chocolate tasting. Further refreshments are available to buy throughout the evening.
